To support our mental health peers on their personal paths toward wellness within a community free from judgment where we share feelings, experiences, and tools in a respectful way.
At Stepping Stone and Next Step we believe there is life beyond the stigma of mental illness. As peers, let's work together to set boundaries and break limits placed on us. Let's find and use our voices! We know peer support works, and our organization is proud of what we do.
Through education, personal discovery, and working on wellness we change the way we think about ourselves and our relationships. We learn to think critically; respond rather than react; behave in relationships in new, more healthful ways; feel valued; become empowered; and move toward wellness.
